Africa50

Africa50 is a pan-African investment platform that was established by African governments and the African Development Bank to help bridge Africa’s infrastructure funding gap by facilitating project development, mobilizing public and private sector finance, and investing in infrastructure on the continent. Africa50 focuses on high-impact national and regional projects, mostly in the energy and transport sectors, that have a strong development impact while providing a reasonable financial return. With separate project development and equity financing companies, Africa50 aims to provide support at every stage of the project cycle.
