Mark Doumba is a development economist, entrepreneur, and investor. He is a founder of CLIKAFRIK Group, a technology holding company that builds and operates digital ecosystems of government-to-business administrative services in Africa. Mark is also a co-founder of CLIKPAY Technologies, a leading neobank that provides mobile payment and financial inclusion services to unbanked/underbanked individuals and small-medium businesses in Francophone Africa.
Prior to this, Mark co-founded Okoumé Capital; Gabon’s €30.6 million Sovereign Venture Capital Fund. He started his career in Dubai in investment banking as a financial analyst, and in principal investments in the private office of Mohamed Alabbar as Director of Business Development.
Mark served as an advisor to the Transitional Committee of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the world’s largest climate finance initiative to address the mitigation and adaptation challenges of climate change. He has also served on the Global Agenda Council on Responsible Mineral Resources Management at the World Economic Forum, and as Managing Editor of the Africa Policy Journal at Harvard University.
Mark earned a Bachelor's degree in finance from the George Washington University; an Msc Management from the London School of Economics (LSE), and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
