Formerly: spent six years at the US Department of State working at the nexus of science and foreign policy in the Office of the Science and Technology Adviser to the Secretary of State; served as a negotiator on science, technology and innovation in multilateral organizations like the United Nations; developed international partnerships to support scientific research on brain science and biological engineering. Currently, runs the Precision Medicine programme, World Economic Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, San Francisco.
