With over 14 years of expertise in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, Julien has been creating AIs and assessing the technology of AI startups for Venture Capital and M&A in a wide array of industries, ranging from agriculture to insurance. He is also an expert with Innosuisse, the Swiss Federal Agency for Innovation.
Julien was a member of the Davos Lab Taskforce where he led discussions with major stakeholders on AI and co-authored the report on the Top 10 Emerging Technologies of 2023.
Julien is interested in leveraging tech to help people, and understanding how people think to foster creativity, collaborative thinking and AI.
He completed his PhD and Postdoc at the ETH Zurich and holds an MSc in Advanced Computing from Imperial College London.
