David is Special Consultant of Sustainable Cities Collective. He\'s author of Energy Management in Buildings, Energy Management in Industry, Sustainable Transport Fuels, Solar Technology, Sustainable Home Refurbishment, Solar Photovoltaics Business Briefing, and much more. His new book, The One Planet Life, is due out in November. He\'s also a novelist, script and comics writer, journalist, and editor. He was for 13 years news editor of Energy & Environmental Management magazine, & is director of Cyberium, a media company. Amongst his novels is Hybrids about teenagers in a terror-filled near-future world afflicted by a pandemic that causes people to merge with frequently-used technology.

He set up and ran the publications dept. at the Centre for Alternative Technology in the \'90s, and the London Screenwriters\' Workshop in the \'80s.
